Collaborating with co-writer, as a part of the NMI workshop, to write an original 15-Minute Musical Theater piece, centered around themes of love, change and connection.
I have been a music instructor for over 43 years. My association with Nick Alston has been in the capacity of a guitar instructor. Nick possesses great strength musically. Not only considering his technical abilities on his instrument, but also his clear and unique compositional talent. Nick’s natural comprehension of applied music theory seems to be innate, blending detailed and sophisticated harmonies in his chordal structure combined with advanced attention to rhythm. He is definitely an artist with a very keen sense of self.
